The GFWSSA hive mind functions as the student association executive. Our task is to act as a liaison between the program, faculty, and university on one hand, and graduate students on the other. Each year, a part of our regular work involves helping organize the incoming graduate student orientation, hosting a social in order to introduce the incoming graduate students to the graduate student body, coordinating between various council and committee representatives, and organizing a SSHRC/OGS proposal feedback exchange.
